Edinburgh interviews ONLY for Medicine MBChB and Vet Medicine BVM&S. Medicine format: MMI (Multiple Mini Interviews), 7-8 stations of 5-8 minutes each, hybrid online or in-person. The rest of Edinburgh's courses do NOT interview (NOT for Informatics, NOT for Engineering, NOT for Law, NOT for Humanities). The decision is made on UCAS plus predicted grades plus Personal Statement plus UCAT (for clinical) plus portfolio (for Art).

Conditional offers based on predicted grades. For the Romanian Baccalaureate: Baccalaureate average 9-9.5+ and 9-9.5+ on the relevant subjects (varies). Equivalent to AAA-A*AA at A-Levels. By faculty: Medicine MBChB: 9.5+ required plus Chemistry 9.5+ and Biology 9.5+; Informatics/Computer Science: 9.5+ average plus Maths 9.5+; Standard courses: 9+ average is enough. Plus IELTS 6.5-7.0 depending on the course. After the Baccalaureate in June-July, you confirm that you have met the conditions. Final answer in August, you start in September.
