Personal Statement (NEW 2026 FORMAT)
The UCAS Personal Statement has been REFORMED for 2026 entry, structured into 3 sections with specific questions (Why this course, How you prepared, Why you are ready). About 4,000 characters in total. STRICTLY ACADEMIC for the UK (NOT personal stories like in the US). For Economics/MORSE: economics reading (Acemoglu, Hart, Krugman), data analysis, maths olympiads. For WBS: real business experience, internships. For CS: technical projects, open-source. For English/Theatre: in-depth reading, a critical perspective.
IELTS / TOEFL (by December)
Minimum IELTS Academic for Warwick: 6.5-7.0 overall depending on the course. Standard (Sciences/CS/Engineering/Business): 6.5 overall, no less than 6.0 per component.
