Ideofonic Podcast

A podcast about careers, character traits, and the people who make things happen.

About Ideofonic

Ideofonic starts from a simple premise: to achieve your goals, it matters less how much theory you know or how many facts you can memorize. The real difference lies in the character traits you develop, the values you embrace, and the habits you build.

In each episode, we dive deep into these so-called “soft skills.” We ask what resilience really means, how to take smart risks, and what to consider before launching a new project. Ideofonic isn’t a lecture or a step-by-step guide—it’s an exploration, for us and for you, into the fundamental questions of human character. We don’t promise definite answers or three-step formulas. But we do hope to make you think, challenge your perspective, and inspire new questions—the answers to which you’ll discover yourself.

A new episode every two weeks, available on *YouTube* and *Spotify*. If you’d rather read than listen, we publish weekly essays (right here on our site) inspired by our discussions.

Your hosts

Tinu studied mathematics at Harvard, worked in trading in the U.S., and returned to Romania eight years ago to build Upgrade Education, the country’s leading educational consulting firm. In his free time, he runs marathons and plays the drums. Lately, he’s been fascinated by how people can unlock their full potential—and he sees education as the first step.

Elena is in her final year at Oxford, studying Philosophy and Economics. She made it to the quarter-finals of the World Debating Championship, worked on the editorial team of an arts magazine, and spent time in a startup incubator. When she’s not doing that, she reads fiction and goes rock climbing.
